A Step by Step Guide
Buying proper hearing aids online (not the cheap, wear it once and throw it away variety) means three things; you get to sort your hearing out from the comfort of your own home, you get it at a reduced price and you get greater control of your hearing aids. Quality private hearing aids from any of the major stores like Boots and Specsavers cost thousands of pounds. Now they cost hundreds because we’ve removed the shop front costs and a decent amount of the staff costs. You’ll still speak to an audiologist during your virtual consultations and your hearing aids will be programmed by a hearing care professional.
The Hearing Check.
We enrolled Ctone audiometry to design the most accurate hearing test they could outside of a clinical setting. You can also provide us with your own clinical audiogram via email if you have one: contact@pockethearing.com
The Purchase.
Signia Silk Nx hearing aids are designed to fit invisibly inside the ear canal. They are manufactured for us in Germany at the Siemens factory for WS Audiology who are part of the Sivantos group of companies.
The Phone Call.
We’ll call you before we send your hearing aids out so that we can add the right listening programs. You’ll be able to choose between these using your smartphone app.
The Programming.
Your hearing aids will arrive at your home within 3 days. They will have been set up ready -to-wear by our experts for your hearing loss based on The Call and the results from The Hearing Check.
The Fine-tuning.
You will be able to customise the sound of your hearing aids using the Signia App on your phone. Directly after receiving your hearing aids, we will contact you for a virtual consultation via the app and professionally fine-tune the aids for you.
Continued Support.
You can call one of our hearing experts at any time during normal office hours and we'll be there for you to check that everything is OK. If you require a further fine-tune adjustment, then you can book an online virtual appointment for £70.
